Airports Authority of India invites online applications from the eligible candidates who are domicile of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Sikkim for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service)NE-4 LEVEL, Senior Assistant(Electronics) and Senior Assistant (Accounts)NE-6  level, at various AAI airports and other AAI Establishments in the above States/UT in Eastern Region. applicants shall apply online only through Airports Authority of India Website i.e.(https://www/aai.aero/en/careers/recruitment)for the above post at AAI Airports/Establishment under AAI.

Scale of Pay (IDA): Rs.36000-3%-110000/-

No. of Posts: 06 (UR-04, OBC(NCL)-01, ESM-01)

Scale of Pay (IDA): Rs.36000-3%-110000/-

3. Name & Level of Post : Junior Assistant(Fire Service)NE-4

No. of Posts: 32 (UR-16, SC-02, ST-03, OBC(NCL)-03, EWS-03,ESM-04 Disabled and Dependent of ESM Killed in action-01)

Scale of Pay (IDA): Rs.31000-3%-92000/-

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For Senior Assistant(Electronics):a)Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering from a Recognized/Deemed Board/University recognized by Govt. of India.

b) Two(02) years relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

2. Senior Assistant(Accounts) :a)Graduate preferably B.Com with computer training course of 3 to 6 months.

b) Two(02) years’ relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

3. Junior Assistant(Fire Service) :a)10th Pass + 3 years approved regular diploma in Mechanical /Automobile/fire with minimum 50 marks from a Recognized/Deemed Board/University recognized by Govt. of India.

OR

b)12th Pass(Regular Study)with 50%marks.

Driving License

i) Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License;

ii) Valid Medium Vehicle Driving License;

iii) Valid Light Motor Vehicle License issued at two years before the date of advertisement,30.09.2022

In case of (i) & (ii) ,the incumbents are required to acquire Heavy Duty Driving License within one year of appointment before completion of their probation period. In case ,if they fail to acquire/obtain the Heavy-Duty Driving License, their probation period will be extended for one more year in order to obtain Heavy Duty Driving License, till such time, they will not be confirmed and their increments will also be withheld. Moreover ,no further extension will be granted beyond two years and their services are liable to be terminated, due to non-submission of heavy –duty license.

Desirable Qualification & Experience

Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or more (subject to maximum limit of the following)

a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level ;

b) NCC ‘B’ certificate;

c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service/

d) Basic  Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment;

e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

Eye Sight:

i) Distant Vision:6/6 Both Eyes without Glasses.

ii) Near Vision:N-5 in Both Eyes without Glasses.(Visual Evaluation is for each eye individually)

iii) Color Vision: Should be Normal as determined by Ishihara’s charts

iv) Night Blindness: Absent

v) Field of Vision: Each eye should have full filed of vision as determined by confrontation test.

vi) Refractive error: No refractive error acceptable .

3. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
