Assam Public Service Commission has published a notification for the recruitment of Enforcement Inspector (El) under Transport Department.
Name of the Post : Enforcement Inspector (El)
No. of Posts : 27 (Twenty Seven) Numbers .
Scale of Pay : Pay scale Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 9,400/- + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).
Eligibility Criteria :
- The Candidate must be permanent resident of Assam
- The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of the candidate which will be treated as proof of residency along with the application form.
Education Qualification :
- A Degree in Arts/Science or Commerce of a University recognized by the Govt, of Assam or H.S,S,L,C with 3 (three) years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute of Govt, of Assam/Govt. of India and also duly recognised by AICTE.
Age :
- The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 0110112024.
- The upper age limit is relaxable :
- For SC/ST candidates -5 Years, i.e. Upto 43 years.
- For OBC/OBC candidates – 3 years , i.e. Upto 41 years
- For Ex-Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as on 01/01/2024 for Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 48/2009/84 Dated 19th December, 2022.

- For General – Rs. 250 + Rs. 40 + Rs. 7.20 = Rs. 297.20
- For SC/ST/OBC/MOBC – Rs. 150 + Rs. 40 + Rs. 7.20 = Rs. 197.20
- For BPL – Rs. Nil + 40+ 7.20 = Rs. 47.20

How to Apply ?
- Applicants are required to apply online through APSC’s recruitment website. No other means/mode of application will be accepted and the Application will be summarily rejected.
- Applicants who have not registered yet, in online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ,Register Here, link and complete the 0ne Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details.
- Candidates are advised to register with valid and active e-mail address in the online application, document verification schedule and requirements with regard to copies of certificates to be submitted in respect of claims made in the online application, will be intimated to the candidates through the website of the commission in due course of time
- After creating an account, applicants need to login with the credentials.
- After login, applicants need to provide One Time Registration details such as Personal information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB and not older than 3 months) & Signature (Min size-S0 KB & Max size-200 KB) and other required documents. Once these details are submitted, applicants will be able to download the One Time Registration details, Then applicants can click on Applicant Section => Apply Section link for application form submission.
