National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the temporary position of Project Associate-I in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Number of Vacancies: 01 (One)
Duration: 3 years or completion of project, whichever earlier (extension based on performance review every 12 months)
Age Limit :35 Years (as on closing date of application)
- SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Govt of India Rules.
Salary:
- Rs. 37,000/ per month for the 1st and 2nd year.
- Rs. 42,000/ per month for the 3rd year.
- (GATE qualified candidates will be given preference)
- Note: Candidate will be eligible for H.R.A as per the Project / Institute norms.
Essential Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Production Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering
or M.E/ M. Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering and related branches of Mechanical Engineering from recognized University. Other terms are according to DRDO-AR&DB guidelines.
